Digital entries must be on Zenfolio by midnight May 9th. Print entries are to be submitted at the Griswold at 7:00 PM May 16th. That’s the night of our swap meet. The prints will be held by the club until the annual banquet.
To help clarify the rules of the Annual Salon Exhibit, here is my interpretation:
Members who have won 1st through 5th place ribbons during the club-year, may submit their prize winners, up to a total number equal to the number of 1st through 5th place ribbons won. Those members may also swap their honorable mention pictures for some or all of their prize winners, but pictures which have not won ribbons will not be allowed.
Members who have won one ribbon (1st to 5th) in a category may submit a second picture of their choosing, and may substitute a picture which received honorable mention for their prize winner.
Members who have won no ribbons (1st to 5th) may submit two pictures of their choosing.
Awards:
Ribbons will be awarded in each category to the top five places in the Annual Salon plus three honorable mentions.
Plaques are awarded for:
o Digital Image of the Year
o Color Print of the Year
o Monochrome Print of the Year
The Laurie Butts Award is given to the overall, best Image of the year selected from any division.
The member(s) with the highest accumulation of points in all combined categories shall be given a plaque for the Photographer of the Year award.
Prizes will be awarded at the Annual Banquet and Grand Salon Exhibit, held on June 6th at 6 pm at the Worthinton Hills Country Club. The club is located at 920 Clubview Blvd. South, Columbus, OH 43235.
I hope that will answer any questions,
